Sativa / Indica: Sativa Dominant

Moonshine Haze is a sativa dominant strain by Rare Dankness, which crosses Nevil’s Wreck with Amnesia Haze, producing a strong sativa strain with impressive THC values. Moonshine Haze’s terpene profiles are typically dominated by Terpinolene, a terpene with high medicinal value; particularly as an antioxidant.

The density of this bud was unparalleled by anything I’ve smoked before, stacked from the stem to the trichomes. The bud may not have the same frosty white appearance as some like with their indoor, but this plant had clearly been grown well. In colouration, it may not tick all the boxes for those who enjoy their saturated colours, as it was a little dull in colouration with dark pistils pulled tight against the calyxes.

Aroma & Taste

God damn! Possibly one of the most unique and strong scents I’ve had, Moonshine announces itself with each opening of the container, with a strong, unique and difficult to describe scent which found itself being passed around to friends and family to get a quick whiff of. The scent is that of a sweet, yet spicy sour smell that is reminiscent of a candy one had as a child. Almost like a sherbert, but with a slight spicy citrus punch at the end that almost stings the sinuses.

Once lit, Moonshine Haze comes on a bit more modest with a floral scent combined with some spices and peppery elements.

The smoke was very smooth and seemingly had been well flushed.

The high associated with this strain is most certainly a productive one, you can expect to feel uplifted, energetic and and creative. Very much a head high that can take you on quite a mental journey if you smoke a lot. When just smoking a bong or two, this strain can act as a great day time smoke for those looking to increase creativity while not having to battle a couch-locked body. When smoking the full gram, I found myself becoming very introspective, while still remaining energized.
